For densities below 20 kg/m³
Foams with a density below 20 kg/m³ approx. cannot be produced
without adding a blowing agent. Foams in this density range account for about
25 % of European sales and represent by far the greatest portion of the global
market. In all of these applications, the reliable NovaFlex® technology is
the solution of choice when it comes to meeting highest quality standards.

Eco-friendly foaming with natural carbon dioxide
The NovaFlex® process uses natural carbon dioxide as a substitute
for environmentally harmful blowing agents such as CFC and methylene chloride.
CO2 does not have to be extracted or synthesized but is a
naturally occuring resource.

Superior economic efficiency
CO2 has 3.2 times the blowing effect of
methylene chloride and costs only one-fifth. As a result, blowing agent costs will
be reduced by more than 90 %. |

NovaFlex® is retrofittable on all continuous lines
NovaFlex® equipment is very versatile in use. It can be retrofitted on
conventional machines such as Hennecke's UBT lines, high-pressure machines with a
fall-plate section such as QFM or MultiFlex and trough machines.
