PENTAMAT – No possibility for explosive atmosphere hazards The computer-controlled PENTAMAT metering
unit has been approved by the German Technical Inspectorate
(TÜV) and is equipped with numerous safety elements to prevent
the formation of explosive atmospheres.
Differential (instead of direct) blowing agent metering In the PENTAMAT system, a portion of the constant polyol
stream is ex-tracted by a special tandem pump. The other half of the tandem
pump returns a defined, larger quantity into the polyol stream. The
difference is automatically made up from the pressurized blowing agent line.
The percentage of blowing agent in the mixture can be varied by a
frequency-controlled motor.

DELTAMAT
One variant of the PENTAMAT series is our DELTAMAT sys-tem for low-boiling,
soft blow-ing agents such as R22 and R142b. It comprises an addi-tional
pressure-maintaining valve preventing an internal evaporation of blowing
agents during metering and mixing.
