Operating principle
A vacuum is applied to the mixing tank and the filler materials are drawn into the fluid from below. This method ensures a highly uniform filler distribution in the polyol. The mixing process in the mixing tank, which is equipped with a special stirrer, is monitored and controlled by an electronic scale operating in conjunction with a formulation pro-cessor. The finished mix is then pumped into the work tank. The latter is needed to bridge batch preparation times of up to 60 minutes.
