Process principle
In the FiberFlex process, a second unfilled
(or low-filler) polyol is fed to the mixhead in addition to the
polyol/ glass-fibre mix, using an additional metering piston.
By changing the ratio between these two compo-nents, it is
possible to vary the glass content between shots.

More flexibility and productivity
The FiberFlex process allows you to produce
moulded parts with different filler contents at various foaming
stations from a single batch. So, there is no need to prepare a
new polyol/filler batch. Whether it's fenders, bumpers or side
skirts - PU moulded parts of different filler contents can now be
manufactured concurrently on the same production line, with
obvious flexibility and productivity benefits.
