Process
SkinRIM cast skins are made in closed moulds.
The skin thickness - typically between 0.5 and 3 mm - is actually
defined by the gap between the two mould halves.
Technology
The system utilises an HK
machine that is usually fitted with an MX or an MQ
mixhead. The 4-component MQ type is suitable for metering two different colours.
Also used are stationary production systems
with add-on mixheads or rotary tables.
