Pentane extraction devices
Vacuum extraction systems must be fitted at critical points to capture potential pentane emissions.

Enclosures
Machinery and equipment such as the PENTAMAT station and work tank, as well as the HK-P series high-pressure reaction moulding unit, are fully enclosed and fitted with extraction systems, pentane gas sensors and other safety devices.

Pentane sensors
These gas warning devices monitor all critical plant areas such as the tank farm, pre-mixing station, metering unit and foaming machine.

Inert gas protection
To prevent inflammable pentane/air mixtures from forming at the metering stage, at least 70 % of the foam expansion volume are filled with nitrogen (N2). The nitrogen is supplied into the cabinet to be foam-filled via an additional injection system on the mixhead.
