Laminator
Hennecke's laminators produce optimum-quality sandwich elements with high-grade metal-facing surfaces.

High-precision manufacture ensuring completely plane and parallel operation of top and bottom conveyor
The ground surface quality of the steel supporting plates ensure that no geometric impressions will occur on the facings.
The conveyor plates have treated surfaces to eliminate virtually any "metal marking" on facings without protective film (option)



Circulating-air temperature-control system
including air guides and all-round insulation
Advantages
Energy saving system because only the steel supporting plates are temperature-controlled
High-precision and constant temperature control due to direct air heating of plates
Also available as a two-circuit system so that different temperatures can be realised on top and bottom conveyor
Separate heating and cooling circuits to meet requirements of diverse raw material systems and processing temperatures



CONTIMAT side-sealing system
guides the facings and absorbs the lateral foaming pressure.
Width adjustment is realised by three-phase gear-motors fitted on both sides halfway down the CONTIMAT line and a number of worm gear units that are interconnected by drive-shafts
Frequency-controlled drive unit with integrated tensioning station for the sealing-block chain

Advantages
Production changes, i.e. element widths and thicknesses, take very little time
Plane-parallel adjustment of the right and left support structure
Sealing chains are synchronised with the plate conveyors


Cutting machine
The continuously produced element is cut to the specified length about 10 - 15 m down-stream of the CONTIMAT. Hennecke's patented cutting machine cuts "on the fly" from left to right. It has a fine-toothed bandsaw blade to ensure clean and precise cuts even with minimum panel lengths. A special flash-trimming device also enhances the cut quality.

Bandsaw blades have a long tool-life and ensure high-quality cuts with next to no flashing
Cathodic protection at the sheet-metal edges
Optimum cutting accuracy due to electronic length measurement with microprocessor-controlled evaluation

Saw-blade turning device
Turns the saw blade by 90° (right and left)

Advantages
Cutting from both sides means that minimum panel lengths can be realised.


Special-purpose saw
for lap-joint edges of roof elements
Bandsaw with integrated circular saw and 180° rotating device.

Advantages
Length and overlap cuts are carried on in one step
(saves time and cost)
Cuts can be made at either end of the sandwich element
Cuts can be made given different trapezoidal profile heights and element thicknesses
