Casting rakes used
for spreading the reaction mixture tend to
get clogged over time and need to be replaced
on a regular basis. Such changes entail production
down-times. Hennecke's TwinHead however carries
out these changes "on the fly", i.e. without
any production stoppages or quality impairments
at all, because the second mixhead will be
brought into action as soon as the first casting
rake starts to deteriorate.
Speed: 200 m/min and oscillation width: 1200 mm
An oscillating mixhead may move at speeds of more than 200 m/min,
which is of particular advantage when it comes to making very thin metal composite panels.
Oscillation widths can vary between 350 and 1200 mm.
