Main responsibilities
  • Use of mechanical and electrical experience to repair customer’s machines

  • Perform troubleshooting of control components (Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley)

  • Repair or replace components to bring machine back to operating standards at customer site

  • Installation and commissioning of new customer machines

  • Communicate with customers to address technical questions, service and parts.

  • Remote support for customers by PC, Phone, or Virtual Reality Glasses

  • Work on internal projects such as machine rebuilds and laboratory trials

  • Create and submit Field Service Reports for customer visits

  • Evaluate and suggest aftermarket changes to help customer

  • Work with engineers to develop machine corrections and repairs as needed.

Requirements
  • Minimum of Associates Degree in technical discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and education

  • Experience with capital equipment installation, startup, and service is preferred

  • Good Understanding of Hydraulics and machine controls

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to complete assigned tasks in allotted time

  • Ability to think methodically, prioritize and follow up on multiple tasks and technical assignments

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers

  • Domestic travel up to 75% to customer sites
