Safety concept at Hennecke GmbH

Customer satisfaction, economic efficiency, environmental protection and safety at work are equally ranking objectives of Hennecke GmbH. Should, however, those business objectives be in conflict with safety at work, the following shall apply:

Safety at work always prevails!

  • Within the scope of transfer of operator’s duties to each superior (m/f) the latter bears superordinate responsibility for safety at work in his / her area of responsibility.
  • Each staff member (m/f) is responsible for his / her safety at work. However, everyone must have a look at colleagues (m/f) and external partners to detect and eliminate unsafe actions and circumstances as quickly as possible.
  • Each staff member (m/f) must have been instructed as to regulations, rules and instructions applicable in his / her working area and must adhere to all those guidelines to the best of his / her knowledge and belief.
  • Safety expert and works doctor support all staff members (m/f) by giving advice with respect to safe and health-conscious work.
  • Within the scope of their tasks the safety experts in the departments support their direct superiors when detecting safety deficiencies and with the implementation of safety measures.
  • Within the scope of appropriate technical feasibility all plants and installations must be designed, constructed and operated in compliance with findings in occupational medicine and the workplace layout.
  • Discipline is the prerequisite for safe work. Therefore, all operational steps must be prepared with care and executed with cautiousness.
  • This safety philosophy is substantiated by a safety-at-work policy and implemented in the rules and guidelines for safety at work.
  • In matters of safety at work the general management co-operates with the works council. Its members support measures concerning the optimization of safety at work and also work towards safety-conscious behavior.
  • With the intention to safely handle all workflows and work processes and beware all staff members of injuries Hennecke appoints further commissioners. They act as fire prevention officers, hazardous materials and dangerous goods safety officers, officers for the environment and waste.
  • Apart from those officers and advisers further experts have to be appointed.
