Modular systems for efficient production of diverse flexible foams

The new SMARTFLEX combines important distinctive features of Hennecke's range of continuous slabstock machines with noticeably shorter assembly times. Fitted throughout with high-quality plant components, this production system impresses with its excellent price-performance ratio. The equipment with largely standardized components ensures greater plant availability as well as reduced maintenance and spare parts costs. The machine's novel modular design shortens assembly and start-up times, thus cutting investment costs. The modular concept also means that long after delivery, the modern plants can easily be supplemented or retrofitted with additional modules, special accessories and equipment to meet changing market conditions. This ensures that the production process will remain competitive in the long term. By using the liquid laydown process in production with the SMARTFLEX system, processors can achieve a highly efficient raw material yield and excellent foam qualities. The rectangular block system is a significant part of this process and is supplied in two different variants in the new SMARTFLEX: the well-established Flat-Top system and the new Block-Shape system with side foils and an additional optional foil on the block.
