SMARTFLEX evo: efficient access to industrial comfort foam production.
The focus of the trade show presentation is the SMARTFLEX evo continuous slabstock plant system. It has been consistently tailored to the requirements of comfort foam production — particularly for mattresses and upholstered furniture — and complements the portfolio between the JFLEX evo and the MULTIFLEX. A high degree of standardization and a modular, space-saving design significantly reduce investment costs compared to comparable systems, without compromising on quality or process reliability. The absence of a traditional gantry reduces the overall height and facilitates integration into facilities with limited ceiling height. Short delivery times and rapid commissioning are also ensured by the modular design. The SMARTFLEX evo enables the processing of up to eight polyols, three isocyanates, and 24 additives. Standard features include SMARTJECTOR injection units and manually tiltable side walls, as well as a FLAT-TOP system for a nearly rectangular block shape, which reduces waste and improves raw material yield. Intuitive control is provided by the innovative FOAMWARE Slabstock, which combines process monitoring, remote maintenance, and comprehensive production data management.
Proven high-pressure technology for maximum cost-effectiveness
Despite the extremely attractive entry-level price, a key feature of Hennecke technology remains: efficient high-pressure metering, which ensures optimal raw material utilization and excellent foam quality, and saves up to four percent isocyanate compared to low-pressure systems. In combination with the Indirect Liquid Laydown process and the MIXGUIDE deflection plate, a homogeneous foam reaction is achieved across the entire foaming width; waste during recipe changes is effectively avoided. JFLEX evo: professional slabstock production in the smallest of spaces
For producers with smaller volumes planning to make the transition from batch to continuous production, Hennecke PUR Solutions is also presenting the JFLEX evo in Bogotá. The system stands out above all for its ultra-compact footprint: with a system length of just twelve meters and a width of 4.5 meters, the footprint is only around 54 square meters. This allows even companies with limited plant floor space to benefit from the advantages of continuous slabstock production. The continuously adjustable foam width between 1,550 and 2,300 mm, along with the standard FLAT-TOP system, ensures uniformly shaped foam blocks and maximum raw material efficiency.
